My name is Alex V. Priala and I am a Quebec licensed professional hypnotherapist. Experienced speaker, author and an active member of the National Association of Naturopaths NAN, I have more than 20 years of experience in helping others as an effective health care counsellor and therapist.
Pursuing my vocation, I have spent most of my life sourcing the required learning, training, skills and experience to becoming a master practitioner. Dedicated to supporting you in restoring your inborn ability to heal, I am a passionate and genuine craftsman of well-being who considers his role as hypnotherapist as a privilege and a responsibility. I'm committed to help people leave behind what they feel is an unpleasant, negative or overwhelming presence in their life and to experience swift and lasting positive changes, as they wish.
With a solid academic background in social sciences, I have attended multiple trainings, conferences and seminars related to the traditional, intuitive, ericksonian, and somatic hypnotherapy, to transpersonal psychology and holistic approaches to health. I blend traditional therapies with contemporary somatic and transformational therapies in unique ways to meet your particular needs.
Beyond popularity and academic recognition, the true measure of the effectiveness of a therapeutic approach are the results. Thus, even if the somatic hypnotherapy is a team work, the principle of "no cure - no payment" is the ethical guarantor of my work and it applies to all my therapies. In other words, if ever, based on your own assessment, you won't see an improvement at the end of your session, I won’t accept your money.
Somatic hypnotherapy is a brief therapy approach, and a very effective one! Thus, you will experience at least a significant improvement in your condition right after your first session of therapy, provided that your issue is within my area of expertise. However, complex or deeply rooted problems it may require up to three sessions.
Once relieved of your overwhelming negative feelings and pains, learning to trust what you feel, avoiding to living in cognitive dissonance and disharmony with your heart are the best ways to protect and nurture your ongoing healing. Because, you are the only one in charge of your destiny.
My practice is results oriented. Therapy sessions are billed at a variable rate based on the complexity of the addressed issues, which do not exceed 120$ for the first session and 100$ for each eventual follow-up session. As a reference, to solve a specific phobia I won't charge more than 80$.
All sessions are private and available by appointment only. Your first therapy session will follow your free of charge take-in assessment and can last from 90 to 120 minutes.
As a member of the National Association of Naturopaths, my services are eligible for coverage under most insurance plans. For more information, please contact your insurance company.
