My name is Alex V. Priala. I am a Certified Hypnotherapist and a Master Practitioner in Somatic Hypnotherapy. I'm an experienced speaker, somatic hypnosis trainer and active member of the National Association of Naturopaths (NAN), with more than 20 years of experience in listening, counseling and helping others to improve their life.
I am a passionate and authentic craftsman of health and well-being who sees his role as a hypnotherapist a privilege and a great responsibility. While keeping a constant interest in the spiritual aspects of human nature, I remain an open-minded, well-informed and intellectually curious hypnotherapist who believes in the rigor of scientific methods. I love my work and my excellent references testify to it. I can help you to experience swift and lasting positive changes.
In pursuing my vocation, I have spent most of my adult life sourcing the required learning, training, skills and experience needed to become a somatic hypnosis master practitioner. With a solid academic background in social sciences, I have attended multiple trainings, conferences and seminars related to the traditional, intuitive, ericksonian, and somatic hypnotherapy, as well as transpersonal and somatic psychology and various holistic approaches to health. The most memorable encounters of my career are those with my mentors Edith Acédo and Francine Boisvert, two very generous trainers and respected master practitioners gifted with exceptional intuition and talent.
Somatic hypnotherapy is a balanced blend of a time-tested pragmatic Eastern approach to health and the rigor of Western scientific models. This approach focuses on the traditional concept of feeling. Somatic Hypnotherapy has integrated and developed into a therapeutic practice various contemporary scientific model, including the Somatic Markers Hypothesis and the concept of Emotional Coherence. With time, this pragmatic approach to health and well being has proven to be very effective in overcoming a wide variety of emotional, behavioral and somatic issues. Thus, you will experience at least a significant improvement in your issue right after your first session of therapy, provided that the issue is within my area of expertise and somatic hypnotherapy is your therapy of choice.
Beyond popularity or academic recognition, the true measure of the effectiveness of any therapeutic approach lies in the results. The predictability of the good results of Somatic Hypnotherapy is an undeniable confirmation of the conceptual coherence of this highly effective approach to health and well-being, as well as a validation of the scientific concepts and models recently integrated into this ancestral practice. Thus, even if the Somatic Hypnotherapy is a team work, the principle of "no results - no pay" is the ethical guarantor of my work and it applies to all my therapies. In other words, if you won't experience an improvement at the end of your first session, I won’t accept your money. However, complex or deeply rooted problems may require more than one therapy session.
Nevertheless, with my approach you are not likely to get stuck in endless therapy sessions, because I rarely give more than three sessions for the same problem, whatever the problem to solve. If you won't notice at the end of your first session a significant improvement in the problem you want to solve, it is highly likely that this approach is not your therapy of choice and it's not worth pursuing. Same thing when, after a maximum of three sessions, you will most likely achieve the most healing that this approach can offer to the problem you are experiencing and that it is no longer worth pursuing.
During your session in somatic hypnotherapy you will experience profound changes. Throughout your journey, you will have the opportunity to change the emotional reading of your past, as you see fit. You'll have the chance to significantly diminish or to winnow away your toxic emotional feelings, your pains and any other unpleasant feelings. The clear vision that you'll gain after eliminating the most of what used to poison your life and held you imprisoned in your past will help you get a better overview of the past and foresee the best decision in the future.*
