My name is Alex V. Priala and I am a professional somatic hypnotherapy master practitioner. An experienced speaker, trainer, author and an active member of the National Association of Naturopaths NAN, I have more than 20 years of experience in listening, counseling and helping others to improve their life.
I am a passionate and genuine craftsman of well-being who considers his role as a hypnotherapist being a privilege and a great responsibility. I can help you leave behind you the most of what you perceive as unpleasant, negative or overwhelming emotional or somatic feelings and thus, to experience swift and lasting positive changes, as you wish. I am dedicated to assist you in improving your health and well-being through helping you regain your serenity and restoring so your inborn ability to heal.
Pursuing my vocation, I have spent most of my life sourcing the required learning, training, skills and experience to becoming a master practitioner. With a solid academic background in social sciences, I have attended multiple trainings, conferences and seminars related to the traditional, intuitive, Ericksonian, and somatic hypnotherapy, to transpersonal and somatic psychology and various holistic approaches to health. The most memorables encounters of my career are those with my mentors Edith Acédo and Francine Boisvert, two very generous trainers and respected master practitioners, gifted with exceptional intuition and talent.
Somatic hypnotherapy has emerged from traditional hypnotherapy by integrating several visionary scientific models, and with time, this approach has proven to be very effective ! Thus, you will experience at least a significant improvement in your emotional or physical issues right after your first session of therapy, provided that the issue to be improved is within my area of expertise and somatic hypnotherapy is your therapy of choice. However, complex or deeply rooted problems may require more than one session, but most likely, no more than three therapy sessions.*
Beyond popularity and academic recognition, the true measure of the effectiveness of a therapeutic approach are the results. Thus, even if the somatic hypnotherapy is a team work, the principle of "no cure - no payment" is the ethical guarantor of my work and it applies to all my therapies. In other words, if you won't see an improvement at the end of your session, I won’t accept your money.
My practice is results oriented. Therapy sessions are billed at a variable rate based on the complexity of the addressed issues, which do not exceed 120$ for the first session and 100$ for each eventual follow-up session. As a reference, to solve a specific phobia I won't charge more than 80$.
Once relieved of your overwhelming negative feelings and pains, learning to trust your feelings, avoiding to living in cognitive dissonance and disharmony with your heart is the best way to protect and nurture your ongoing healing.
All sessions are private, confidential and available by appointment only. Your first therapy session will follow your free of charge take-in assessment and can last from 90 to 120 minutes.
As a member of the National Association of Naturopaths, my services are eligible for coverage under most insurance plans. For more information, please contact your insurance company.
